Healthy Teams Insights has broad experience with teams who are cross-cultural, or working with others in an international setting.
Organizations who have team members (physically or virtually) crossing international boundaries have a set of unique challenges in communication and understanding that not every organization may address.
Healthy Teams Insights helps open lines of communication and open eyes to the beauty of the diversity in those we work with, and the strengths each team member brings to the conversation.
Meet the Founder
A very warm welcome to you.
I’m Wendy Davidson, and I feel privileged to facilitate communication and understanding through Healthy Teams Insights.
I truly believe that each person possesses wild amounts of uniqueness and we’re all poorer when those gifts, talents and perspectives are hidden, undiscovered or unappreciated.
My professional experience is quite varied. Starting out with a decade in leadership in non-profit, I moved to the corporate world, focusing on international relocation for executives in large international Fortune 500 corporations. I also owned a previous coaching and consulting business for 4 years before launching Healthy Teams Insights.
I’ve had the privilege of living, working or visiting 50 countries worldwide, with extended periods of time spent in Europe, Central Asia and Southeast Asia. I really have a passion for all things international, and I love seeing healthy relationships foster to improve personal satisfaction in employees and productivity in the workplace.
I hold a passion for seeing the world become a better place, (and I believe increasing communication and understanding does just that!) which was fostered during my non-profit years. During that time I (like many non-profit workers) wore many, many hats, finding myself doing things as varied as teaching English in Azerbaijan to creating a conference on gender injustice issues in Crete, Greece, to meeting with government officials in Djibouti, East Africa about public health.
Above all, an overwhelming theme of my time in non-profit was leadership and team-building. I learned a lot in that time about what a good leader looks like (and doesn’t look like) and what it takes to have a great and healthy team, especially when multiple cultures are in play.
During my time in corporate I had the privilege of working with many executives from numerous companies as they relocated internationally. After so many years of travel and moving myself, it was wonderful to be on the facilitating end of helping others move to and from so many places (many of which I’d been to myself). During my years in International Relocation I primarily worked in Phoenix, Arizona but was also sent on assignments to Calgary, Alberta, Canada and Singapore to lead teams and help triage important client relationships.
My educational background is in International/Community Development, and I hold certificates in Human Resources as well as Communicating and Negotiating with a Global Mindset. I’m a certified facilitator in Mindfulness training, as well as EQ, Driving Forces and Behaviors assessments training and debriefing.
